Tom grew up in Western Michigan (Go Orchard View!!) and currently lives in Whitehall with his wife Robin. He has 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Tom graduated from Taylor University in 1980 with a BS in Business. Before joining his father in the family business, Tom spent time with the home missions of the Baptist General Conference, the UAW, fast food, Carriage House Apartments, 84 Lumber and KMart. He has also earned insurance industry designations CIC, CLU, CASL and LUTCF. He likes to fish, kayak, hunt, hike (backpack) and RUN (kind of jog now). He has a passion for kid’s ministries and currently is involved with Awana and Children’s Church at Whitehall Evangelical Covenant Church.
